Explore a dynamic series of public events honoring Lawrence Halprin’s rich local and national legacy, showcasing his reimagining of urban design through the decades and the creative process that inspired his work. The Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin, organized and curated by The Cultural Landscape Foundation, will appear at A+D Museum, as well as Lawrence Halprin: Alternative Scores – Drawing from Life, the first major exhibition of rarely-seen drawings by Halprin at Edward Cella Art & Architecture. Diverse programming includes tours, lectures, and public performances, made possible through partnerships with the Los Angeles Conservancy, The California Historical Society, the Heidi Duckler Dance Theater, and the Lucky Dragons.
